Daniel Bird and Richard Scarbrough secured a decisive victory in their Ford Fiesta R5 at the 2024 Jordan Road Surfacing Stages Rally. The pair finished 51 seconds ahead of the second-place team, demonstrating their superior performance throughout the event.
David Campling and James Ducker, driving a Skoda Fabia R5, claimed second place after a strong showing, despite being consistently outpaced by Bird and Scarbrough. Their determined effort earned them a well-deserved podium finish.
In third place, David McMulla and Marc Melhuish showcased their skills in a Ford Fiesta S2000, rounding out the top three with a commendable performance.
This year's event, held at Fulbeck Airfield, was a qualifying round for the Clubman Motorsport EMAMC, Alpha Concrete ANEMMC, and Heart of England AWMMC Stage Rally Championships. Amid challenging times for many rallies, the event attracted a robust entry list of 69 crews and featured a wide variety of machinery, marking it as a notable success.
