BSB & Support Events Cadwell Park 2025.
Pitlane News returned to Cadwell Park for the BSB Superbikes annual summer ‘Party in the Park’ this August Bank Holiday featuring three headline races. The circuit’s showpiece event is always a big one with thousands of enthusiastic motorcycle fans travelling to the Lincolnshire Wolds to create what is always a special festival atmosphere.


Defending champion Kyle Ryde edged to within 0.040s of the fastest ever Bennetts British Superbike Championship lap of Cadwell Park this afternoon ( Saturday ) to hold off current standings leader Brad Ray by a mere 0.007s ahead of tomorrow’s opening race.


The Yamaha rider saved his best until his final lap of the session to launch ahead of his Raceways Yamaha rival, whilst a resurgent Tommy Bridewell held a strong third place ahead of the Honda team’s home round.


Charlie Nesbitt had been nudged to fourth on the MasterMac Honda with Bridewell’s final run improvement with Scott Redding completing the top five for Hager PBM Ducati.


Leon Haslam had been the pace-setter earlier in the session, but the Moto Rapido Ducati Racing rider comfortably qualified for tomorrow’s Omologato Superpole ahead of McAMS Racing Yamaha’s Danny Kent and Bathams AJN Racing BMW’s Storm Stacey.



Christian Iddon led the AJN Steelstock Kawasaki riders in ninth place, holding off Andrew Irwin in tenth place with Rory Skinner and Glenn Irwin completing the top twelve riders heading directly into Omologato Superpole.









Pirelli National Sportbike Championship
Sunday and Bradley Ray claimed the fastest lap in the Omologato Superpole, firing the Raceways Yamaha to the top of the times, displacing Championship rival Kyle Ryde from the top spot by a staggering 0.195s.









Quattro Supersport Championship
Tommy Bridewell scored his first victory of the 2025 Bennetts British Superbike Championship season in race two at Cadwell Park as Honda Racing UK returned to winning ways at their home circuit. Meanwhile Kyle Ryde snatched second on the final lap at the Hairpin from Andrew Irwin, more than halving Ray’s points’ advantage to 12 ahead of race three after crashing out on lap two from the lead.



Bank Holiday Monday and it was Tommy Bridewell who had a fantastic start as he took the 2nd round win, with Honda Racing UK making a triumphant return to winning ways at their home track. Kyle Ryde came in second on the last lap at the Hairpin, taking over from Andrew Irwin. This move cut Bradley Ray’s points advantage in half, leaving him with just 12 points ahead of race three. But the Yamaha Raceways rider had a tough time, crashing out on at Gooseneck on lap two from the lead.

Kyle Ryde then delivered a faultless victory in race three to take a 2 points lead to Donington Park ahead of the four-race weekend for the Nitrous Competitions Racing Yamaha team. Bradley Ray relinquished the lead in the standings after a twelfth place finish following a difficult race as rivals Honda Racing UK celebrated a double podium finish with Andrew Irwin and Tommy Bridewell, finishing 2nd & 3rd respectively.
