Thruxton never disappoints – and a few weeks ago, it gave us everything from sunny catch-ups to full-on torrential drama!
Half the Pitlane News team made it down, including our very own Dan Knight, who’s officially stepping up as Editor-in-Chief (!!!). We’re all super excited for Dan, especially as Matthew Jordan shifts focus toward athlete development and motorsport supplies – big changes, but all in the name of pushing our paddock family forward.

Thruxton gave us one of those “classic British weather” days – blue skies in the morning, and by mid-afternoon? Boom. Monsoon-mode. But before the skies opened, we had an amazing catch-up with Max Coates and his mum, who’s absolutely bossing it in the Porsche Carrera Cup. Honestly, such a lovely duo!
Great to catch up with Max and his Mum, Karen. Plus a damp Jake Hill....💪💪🏁

We squeezed in a proper team lunch – lots of laughing, photo-checking, and scribbling plans for how they'd showcase the weekend.

We also had a quick word with Jake Hill in the chaos – soaked but still focused. The conditions were grim, but he’s still grinding for those championship points. Respect.

Thruxton always brings the vibes, and this weekend felt like a proper turning point for the team. So here’s to Dan Knight – welcome to the big seat! We’re backing you all the way. 💪

And Chris Holdsworth is promoted alongside Phil Baines as Circuit/Rally Editor for 2025/2026... A super strong and talented team for Pitlanes future and with America is expanding soon too... We're exited 💪💪🏁
