Preparations for the 2026 Essen Motor Show are in full swing.
Around 500 exhibitors are expected at this year’s event, making it once again a must-attend for automotive, tuning and motorsport enthusiasts. The line-up announced so far already promises a diverse mix of performance, racing, vehicle customisation and lifestyle.
A particular focus is on Hall 3, where everything revolves around performance and racing. Ravenol and Mosselmann Turbo Systems are among the first high-profile exhibitors already confirmed.
In the tuning and lifestyle halls 5, 6 and 7 the focus will be on wheels, suspension, exhaust systems, lighting and performance components, amongst other things. Exhibitors include Alcar Wheels, Area 52, Arlows, Borbet, Capristo Automotive and Eventuri. The line-up is rounded off by Infinitec, Kumho Tire, Milltek Sport, Osram, SCC and the Association of Lighting and Headlamp Tuners.
Motorsport fans can also look forward to an extensive programme. Hall 8 is entirely dedicated to motor racing and will bring well-known names from endurance racing to Essen, amongst other things.
The all-female team ‘Girls Only’ by WS Racing, known from the Nürburgring 24-hour race, is likely to attract attention once again. The team not only stands for successful motorsport but has also established itself as a platform for women in racing.
Pfister Racing is another exhibitor that will be showcasing exceptional racing cars. The hall offers a front-row view of unique vehicles and technology.
Classic Cars under new management
Visitors can also expect a significant change in 2026 in the classic car sector. From this year onwards, Messe Essen itself will take over the halls dedicated to classic cars from the previous organiser. This means the entire event will be managed by a single entity in future.
For enthusiasts of historic vehicles, this reorganisation could provide fresh impetus. In future, classic cars are set to be integrated even more closely into the overall concept of the Essen Motor Show.
