Meet the Team - Tristan Bourdier
French photographer Tristan Bourdier’s passion for motorsport started long before he ever picked up a camera. Growing up, he was introduced to the World Rally Championship by his father and quickly became captivated by the intensity of rallying. Watching fellow Frenchman Sébastien Ogier dominate stages in the Volkswagen Polo R left a lasting impression and cemented Ogier as his favourite driver.

As his interest in racing grew, Tristan began following other major categories including Formula One, endurance racing and the 24 hour classics. The appeal of cars battling it out at the highest level became something he followed closely, shaping a deep appreciation for motorsport in all its forms.

Photography originally entered Tristan’s life through travel. After purchasing his first camera to document hikes and mountain adventures, he quickly developed a passion for creating visual content. That interest led him into professional media work, spending six years working as an assistant cameraman and drone pilot on film sets while producing shoots for businesses, travel companies and real estate projects.

Motorsport photography came later, but the spark was immediate. A visit to Goodwood with a friend proved to be a turning point, where Tristan discovered the thrill of capturing fast cars through the lens. From that moment on, he set out to combine his media background with his long standing love of racing.

Since then he has worked to attend as many events as possible, building experience trackside across categories including Formula One, the 24 Hours of Le Mans, GT3 championships and junior series such as GB3. Events like Open GT at Monza and British GT at Snetterton have become part of a growing portfolio that continues to expand as he pushes deeper into the sport.

With a background in professional filming and a growing body of motorsport work, Tristan’s focus is now firmly on capturing the atmosphere, speed and drama of racing. His long term ambition is clear - to cover the biggest stages in motorsport including the WRC, Formula One and the FIA World Endurance Championship.
