Schubert Motorsport delivered a clinical performance to secure victory in the third round of the Nürburgring Endurance Series, converting consistency and execution into a decisive win across four hours of racing on the Nordschleife.
In a race shaped less by outright pace and more by control under pressure, the BMW M4 GT3 EVO of Marco Wittmann, Philipp Eng and Robin Frijns emerged at the front of a tightly matched GT3 field. Clean pit work, disciplined race management and a measured approach through traffic proved the difference as rivals traded track position around them.
Starting from the front, the early phases were anything but settled. The lead changed hands through the opening laps as multiple GT3 contenders forced their way into contention, with the order remaining fluid as strategies began to diverge. Schubert initially slipped back in the shuffle, but quickly reset, opting for consistency over aggression.

That approach paid off as the race developed. While others lost time through traffic, penalties and minor disruptions, Schubert steadily moved forward, positioning themselves perfectly as the final stint approached. From there, the outcome was controlled rather than chased.
Behind them, Team Manthey produced one of the standout drives of the race. Starting deep in the order after a disrupted qualifying, Ayhancan Güven and Matt Campbell carved through the field with precision, executing a clean recovery to secure second place. It was a drive built on patience as much as pace, with opportunities taken when they came rather than forced.
The fight for the final podium position remained tight throughout, eventually going the way of the HRT Ford Mustang GT3 entry.

Maintaining consistent pace across all stints, the car stayed within striking distance before capitalising late to secure third.
One of the early benchmark crews ultimately fell out of victory contention despite showing front-running speed. A time penalty for a Code 60 infringement proved costly, dropping them out of the fight and underlining how fine the margins remain in NLS competition.
Further back, strong class performances added depth to the story. In SP9 Pro-Am, Gamota Racing combined pace and control to take a commanding class win, while also featuring inside the overall top ten. In Cup 2, Sorg Rennsport edged a close contest to take victory after a late twist removed the long-time class leaders from contention.

Cup 3 once again delivered consistency at the top, with Team Smyrlis Racing maintaining their perfect run in the category. Their continued form keeps the championship picture tightly packed, with multiple crews now locked together at the head of the standings.
Across the field, NLS3 reinforced a familiar theme. On the Nordschleife, outright speed alone rarely decides the result. Precision, patience and execution remain the defining factors and on this occasion, Schubert Motorsport delivered all three.
