The RallyX Euro League entered new territory this season, expanding beyond its Nordic roots for the first full European campaign. Rounds 3 and 4 took the championship to the Euro Circuit at Valkenswaard in the Netherlands, and for one driver, it quickly became a homecoming to remember.
The weekend marked the return of former FIA RX2 Champion Victor Vranckx, fresh from competing in the Nitrocross Championship in the United States. Back on European soil and racing at home, Vranckx lined up in the Hedström Motorsport Peugeot 208 with immediate intent.

Saturday’s first race left little room for doubt. Vranckx topped Free Practice 2 and went on to set the pace in Qualifying 2 and 3, before delivering a flawless run through the Semi-Final and into the Final. When it mattered most, he controlled the race from the front to take a dominant victory. Team-mates Oliver Eriksson and Jamaican driver Fraser McConnell completed a strong Hedström Motorsport podium. The final was not without drama, with Nathan Ottink retiring after a lap one incident and Casper Jansson forced out following contact on lap two.
In the FC2 class final, reserved exclusively for FC2 Rallycross cars also used at the Race of Champions, Casper Jansson claimed victory with a controlled drive, finishing two seconds clear of Fraser McConnell. Simon Olofsson brought his BAK40 Motorsports entry home in third to complete the podium.

Sunday followed a familiar pattern. Once again, Vranckx set the benchmark by sweeping the qualifying heats, converting his pace into another assured Final victory. Tommi Hallman finished second, narrowly ahead of Casper Jansson in third. Across both days, Vranckx’s performance was defined by precision rather than risk, underlining his readiness for a full-time RallyX campaign.
The FC2 class saw a different winner on Sunday, with Tommi Hallman converting pole position into his second class win of the season. Casper Jansson finished second, with Oliver Eriksson securing third. Fraser McConnell looked set for another podium result, but a mid-race mistake dropped him to fourth, a frustrating end to an otherwise competitive weekend.
For RallyX, Valkenswaard delivered exactly what a growing championship needs. Strong grids, clear narratives, and a standout performance from a driver proving he still belongs at the front.
