Brands Hatch's Centenary Season continued in spectacular fashion as Touring Car Rewind returned to the famous Indy Circuit on 1–2 August, bringing together generations of touring car legends for one of the most atmospheric weekends on the British motorsport calendar.

With the circuit gates opening at 08:00 on both Saturday and Sunday, fans wasted little time filling the paddock, eager to relive some of the greatest eras in touring car racing. Typical British summer weather provided ideal conditions throughout the weekend, allowing thousands of spectators to enjoy a packed programme of racing and demonstrations.

The Classic Touring Car Racing Club once again delivered a superb schedule featuring machinery spanning more than four decades. From the unmistakable Pre-'66 Touring Cars through to the iconic Super Touring era, every session offered something special for long-time fans and newcomers alike.

Stealing the spotlight was the hugely anticipated return of the legendary Super Tourers. Iconic machines from BMW, Vauxhall, Peugeot, Nissan, Ford and Honda thundered around the Indy Circuit in both competitive racing and demonstration runs, their unmistakable sound transporting spectators straight back to the golden age of the British Touring Car Championship.

Elsewhere, packed grids ensured non-stop action throughout the weekend with Pre-'66 Touring Cars, Classic Thunder, Group A Touring Cars, Classic Touring Cars, Historic Thunder Saloons, Classic Minis, Blue Oval Saloons, Hot Hatch categories and a full programme of CTCRC support championships all taking to the circuit.

Away from the racing, the open paddock remained one of the weekend's biggest attractions. Fans were able to get up close to the cars, chat with teams and drivers, and admire hundreds of beautifully prepared historic touring cars alongside immaculate road-going replicas and restored BTCC icons.

The popular Road to Race display proved another highlight, showcasing original production cars parked beside their famous racing counterparts, offering a fascinating glimpse into how everyday family cars became championship-winning machines.

The Motorsport News Stage kept the crowds entertained throughout the weekend with interviews and autograph sessions featuring BTCC favourites Anthony Reid, Dan Eaves and Gareth Howell, giving fans the chance to hear stories from some of touring car racing's most memorable years.

Perhaps the most spine-tingling moments came during the Super Touring demonstration laps. The unmistakable soundtrack of these iconic machines echoed around Brands Hatch, delivering one of the loudest and most nostalgic spectacles of the entire weekend.

Sunday's entertainment continued away from the circuit with a live DJ set from Jakki Degg between on-track sessions, helping maintain the festival atmosphere as another memorable Touring Car Rewind drew to a close.

Touring Car Rewind once again proved that historic motorsport is far more than simply preserving the past. It is about celebrating the drivers, the cars and the unforgettable memories that continue to inspire generations of racing fans. At Brands Hatch, the history of touring cars was not just remembered—it came back to life.
